Reposting as it was deleted by management last time. The aesthetic and design of the building is very appealing. However, there's a lot of issues with the building. Within the first week of moving in, the bathroom wall had to be ripped down to fix a pipe leak. This took 7 days to finish, although we were told it would take a few hours. Following this, the leak was never fixed and we were asked a second time if we could allow maintenance to come again to rip down the wall again (we refused due to the team leaving such a mess last time - no protective covers or cleaning up of the mess etc). We have faced many issues with other maintenance problems within the apartment such as broken balcony doors, chipped tiles, marked cupboards and cupboard openings the wrong way round. When we first moved in, we were told the apartment was professionally cleaned by the team. The apartment was not clean, thick dust lay on every surface within the apartment and the balcony was still covered in bird poop. The communal hallways have marks throughout and a bad smell which the building tries to cover with a very strong diffuser. The pool doesn't open until 9am which is very late for a residential tower. This can cause inconvenience if you want to swim before work etc. The staff can be rude, we have faced a few issues with this on numerous occasions. They don't want to help you out of kindness. We have faced many issues with this building and it's such a shame because it does have potential to be a lovely building, but there's still many ongoing problems.

This is one of the worst buildings I have lived in, here in Dubai in regards to the “sound proofing” especially! You can hear everyone in their apartments next to you and even can hear all the way down the passage if people talking in the passage…. For example..screaming kids on the whole floor down to the furtherest apartment (and this when you are inside your own apartment with the door closed), barking dogs, hooting cars outside on the road, and we can even hear the neighbour’s alarm clock going off for his wake up call (when we are in our bedroom)😂🤣😂. Its really bad. It’s the worst insulation/lack of proper sound proofing I have ever experienced so far in Dubai in 16 years here and after having lived in multiple buildings here!. So glad I am only renting.! I will definitely not be renewing just because of this “noise issue”. Not to mention the constant issues with the hot water. Already mentioned. HOWEVER…They are trying to fix it.. so thats good. But at this stage the water goes from full hot.. staying hot all the way to about 1 cm from fully cold then fully cold. So its either a scolding hot shower or an ice cold shower. Sometimes you are lucky to get an in between setting and a good warm temperature (depends on who else showering) still hoping they sort this out but since they have “balanced” my apartment already I do not believe it will get any better. Again… but still glad I am renting only!! On the good side… the facilities are amazing, the management company and guys working here and security are great! Totally amazing people!

First time renting an Ellington property and I can confidently say they're the best, for me, developer. Building is well maintained and also achieved the WELLs Health Safety rating. Looking forward to own one of its property

It’s a beautiful building and nice finishing but renters and buyers be very aware about the *water situation*. There is one water heater in the whole building at the top level so don’t be fooled into getting an apartment on a lower level. We are level 2 and we have to leave the shower running for 10 minutes to get warm. Want to wash your dishes in the sink… it will take around 20 minutes of running water and it won’t be hot so you have to boil a kettle. Construction is all around but you do kind of get used to it. Power points are limited in kitchen and living room. Bathrooms don’t have a plug for toothbrushes / shavers etc. Could be better.

We have been here for one week now. Confirm the water problems still exist. By the time the water is warm enough to shower, you could have already been showered and dried off. Also don't expect a really hot shower. It never gets all that hot. Massive waste of water. Can't see this problem ever being solved. Also don't move here is like like lots of kitchen gadgets. There is only one double power socket in the kitchen. Really bad planning from the builders. Finally. If you like your peace and quiet don't move here for at least the next 12 months. Construction of the new Ellington properties opposite goes on 6 days a week from very early in the morning to late at night. Edit: water issues appear to have been solved. Now almost instantaneous and hot. Thanks
