It’s an excellent choice if you’re seeking convenience and spectacular vistas at a competitive value. However, while general reviews highlight strong positives, be aware that some amenities and housekeeping experiences may vary—and broader developer reputation concerns remain in mind when investing long term. Commentary about DAMAC broadly often cites concerns over build quality, service issues, and higher-than-average fees on some other projects

the worst service that can be in Dubai. nothing is allowed in this building. security and reception staff will do everything possible to ruin your stay here. you will be prohibited from using the balcony, you will be prohibited from leaving a rug at the entrance to the apartment, if you have a pet, you will have to use the freight elevator, where it stinks of garbage, there are many couriers and the elevator arrives to you in 10 minutes. the building is full of cockroaches and if you want to solve some problem, you will be blamed. common areas are always dirty and with a bad smell. the gym is almost destroyed. I do not recommend this building and especially the security and reception. their work is 0.

We live in Dubai for 11 years. I just did the mistake and moved here but I can not wait for my yearly contract to finish. 1. Corridors, entrance lobby and toilets in the gym and pool level smell as mold/wet, a very strong and disgusting smell. Dear Damac, If this can not be fixed cod you at least place some nice smelling devices to change this awful odor? 2. Some of the staff are lovely, but majority do not speak english so it is difficult to comunicate with. Few are also extremely rude, unhelpful,they seem so unhappy being here. They look as not taking care of, not well groomed like other buildings employees in Downtown. Dear Damac, could you provide grooming lessons and standard for your Downtown Employee? 3. Accessing the lift to go to the parking space or to your floor, you require a QR code/ or your id to be register. That is awful! I had several issues with the damac living app, doesn’t work and reception refuse to assist with the QR code. 4. Furniture in the apartment it is bulky, big and not practical. colours not matching : black, gold, grey, silver, green, purple, beige, white, blue, all in one living room: the standard furniture provided by Damac designers. I thought I can reorganize and make it look like Home. Big mistake, nothing can change this design, only throwing everything and buying new furniture. Dear Damac, Have you thought taking some young designers with modern study and use some practical quality furnitures for your hotel -apartment buildings? 5. Parking space very difficult to access, the corridors small, difficult to enter with a big SUV. Update: if u are coming with groceries and u need help from the concierge, even if this is a hotel apartment, nobody will help you! And they even say : make sure to bring the trolley down! First time in 12 years of living in Downtown Dubai *Location is the only positive aspect of living here. Will I recommend it ? No! Will I ever buy Damac? No! Will I ever rent Damac ? No! Will I finish my rent? Yes! I did a mistake choosing Damac ? Yes ! Dear Damac, please improve your future projects and fix your previous projects. Update: rude new receptionist that thinks she is the government. I had a lady coming for interview for helper. She did not allow her because she had no visa. But had her passport. Teach your staff that you need a job and a sponsor for visa, and if they do not allow to go for interview once presenting the passport, they will never get a visa. They could call the apartment for clarifications but they do now. However they allow a certain category of ladies doing “the oldest job in the world” to enter without asking documents or anything. New update: after they did the pest control in common area, my apartment got infested with cockroaches. I book a pest control from outside ( not the one provided by them) and guess what? I had to send over 30! Yes 30 emails with the infinite list of documents asked and go several times to the reception to get the approval for the pest control. What receptionist was doing ? Chatting with the security once, chatting with another random guy another time, on her phone another time, so of course se did not see the email. What the building manager were doing ? Every time On phones also chatting - as the door to their office was open:) Regards, A very disappointed tenant.

What a disgusting, garbage place. As everyone has already pointed out, it costs a fortune in rent and yet it is so dirty and poorly maintained, security guards are not only incompetent but also incredibly rude. One guy accused me of having my car parked in a valet spot for 4-5 days and how much that inconvenienced him, when I have lived here 2 months and never had a car during that time. I told him exactly that and he just grumbled and walked away without apologizing or acknowledging his mistake in any way. Another time I was speaking to a receptionist and a different but equally rude and clueless security guard walked up and interrupted the conversation to talk over both myself and the receptionist and condescendingly tell me my problem couldn’t be fixed, without even knowing what the receptionist and I were speaking about. He was yapping about something completely different and not at all relevant to me and repeatedly cut me off when I tried to explain the situation. Not to mention, the security never do their actual job of securing the building & the residents, just sit around and don’t even look up when people breeze right past them to the elevators. The building itself always smells like cigarettes & old food and it appears only the lobby is ever cleaned. On the actual apartment floors, the carpets are disgusting. I can’t speak for the other units but mine was a nightmare from day 1. Stove didn’t work, freezer door falling off, bedroom door & bathroom door can’t close, balcony door doesn’t seal properly so sand and construction dust come into the apartment all the time, washer/dryer has never once, not even a single time, completed a cycle without stopping and giving an error message and having to be restarted 2-3 times, several lights burned out and not working. Out of all these issues, management was able to fix the stove & the lights. Two months later, the stove stopped working again. I specifically requested for the cleaning & linen services to be halted for me despite paying for it in my rent. This is because when I moved in, the place was supposed to have been cleaned for me but it of course was an absolute pigsty. I spent hours vacuuming and mopping the floor and the mop water/rags were BROWN. The sheets provided were stained and had HAIRS on them, thank the lord I brought my own. Towels were musty and ripped. Now as the cherry on top I have discovered mold in several places and the bidet burst a leak in the middle of the night and sprayed the entire bathroom. Everything is soaked and the floor was covered in about 1cm of water that I spent an hour cleaning up. I still have so much more to say about this dump but I can’t even remember it all off the top of my head. Anyone considering this place PLEASE go literally anywhere else.
