Soho Square
About the project and area
Abu Dhabi's Bloom Holding has recently initiated the project Soho Square with ready-to-move-in apartments in Saadiyat Island. This mixed-use metropolitan development consists of commercial, retail and residential facilities with a total of 302 high-end residences ranging from studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, townhouses to penthouses.
The Soho Square development draws its inspiration from the Soho district of New York and seeks to redefine urban living. The project puts emphasis on creating a space filled with art, popular brands, trendy cafes and spaces that stimulate discussions and a new perspective on living.
The central courtyard in the complex serves to create a strong sense of community and public connectivity between the two 10-storey blocks. Also, the project will feature gourmet restaurants, a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Key Highlights:
- Minutes away from world-class museums such as The Guggenheim, The Louvre and The Zayed National Museums
- Near the Saadiyat Beach Club
- Featuring a world-class marina
- Minutes away from the New York University

Terrible. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Since the day we moved in the apartment has smelled like sewage. We have had several teams come to investigate, the first of which found raw sewage leaking from a pipe in the ceiling, pooling on the ceiling and causing black mold, which was all connected to the vents blowing into my young children’s room. After another week of investigation they also found faulty plumbing that had to be fixed and major structural issues throughout the apartment. These issues were finally fixed but the apartment continues to smell like sewage now after more than a month of living here. I was also originally told that I was the “only person in the building complaining” about this and that they had never had any such issues. Then they finally admitted that indeed, several units have had sewage smells and similar structural issues for years. The only way I got things to start to move or anyone to pay attention to this problem was by going to bloom HQ in Abu Dhabi city and refusing to leave until someone spoke to me. I know that the management will provide a canned response here to my review telling me to contact customer service, which I have also done. In fact I have spent several hours on the phone with them, which was completely useless. They didn’t do anything except tell me that they had “logged” my complaint, or in one case, they told me they closed my complaint because I had refused to pay for the fixes, which was completely inaccurate. The location is nice especially for families who are using the nearby schools, but the building has serious issues. Avoid at all costs.

Good building to live in long term due to its close proximity to upcoming Saadiyat Marina and the already finished university campus. Interesting for investment since there is always demand in this location.

We moved in last year and couldn’t be happier. One of the most family-friendly buildings and a real sense of community. We’ve made a lot of great friends here. Great value to rent or buy. Older reviews were right but now the building works are finished and park/pool open. Building and finishing are good quality. Great building management (Irfan and Chuck do an amazing job). Very large gym and well-equipped. Very convenient for access to Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat and Yas Island. Growing number of facilities around too. American Community School (ACS) new campus being built next door too and opening next year - will be very convenient.

I’m honestly blown away! Saadiyat is quickly becoming one of the world’s top cultural destinations. Home to the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi, the breathtaking new teamLab Phenomena, and several more world-class museums on the way — including the Guggenheim, Zayed National Museum, and the Natural History Museum. The vibe is calm, elegant, and deeply inspiring. You could stay for a full week and still discover something new every day — art, architecture, music, shows, and soul. Perfect for visitors and absolutely worth considering for long-term living. A place where culture meets luxury.

Great place to live on Saadiyat Island with acceptable prices. Everything is nearby however is more advantageous to have a car. The quality of the building is high and the apartments are very spacious especially the kitchens.
