We stayed in Building 1 in Jumeirah 1 Port De Le Mar last October 2023. We booked through Air B&B. We were told there was some building but it wasn’t noisy and probably wouldn’t disturb us. That was a pure understatement. When we turned the corner to the apartments, all we could see was a sky full of cranes. That was the beginning of a nightmare holiday. From 6am straight through to 11pm and beyond some nights, there was building works. The noise was so bad we couldn’t sit on the balcony. We woke every morning to a beeping crane and the noise of builders shouting at each other over the noise of the trucks. Across the marina is some sort of a boat yard(not sure) but that was as noisy as the building works next door. It be fair we asked to be moved and we were offered our money back, however, it was such an inconvenience for us, we decided to stay put. I tried to post a not so positive review on air bnb, however, it did not appear on any of the reviews. The area is nice but I will never stay there again. It ruined our holiday.
