Got Handover last month we are happy with the build quality and the views. Expecting to get external facade window cleaning at the earliest. As the windows are dusty. Damac is highly recommend for all .

A Completely Disappointing Experience with DAMAC’s Golf Gate Project Our experience with DAMAC’s Golf Gate project has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Here’s why: 1. Delayed Completion & False Promises The official project completion date was set for December 28, 2024, but in reality, the DLD completion notice was only released on February 12, 2025. This means customers who planned their finances and move-in dates based on DAMAC’s promises have been left in limbo. 2. Design Mismatch The final building design does not match what was initially marketed. Buyers expected a specific aesthetic and structure, yet the delivered product deviates from those expectations. 3. Endless Delays at the Entrance Since December, the entrance construction has progressed at a painfully slow pace and remains unfinished to this day. This reflects extremely poor project management and lack of prioritization. 4. Abandoning the Project Before Completion Instead of ensuring Golf Gate was fully completed and ready for residents, DAMAC has already shifted all workers to Golf Gate 2, leaving current buyers with an incomplete property and endless delays. 5. Lack of Transparency & Customer Care DAMAC’s communication is reactive at best, non-existent at worst. Every time buyers request updates, they are met with vague or inaccurate information. As of March 1st, the handover was stated as ‘Q1’, yet one months later, it has now shifted to ‘Q2’ without any justification—just an attitude of “because we can, sit and wait.” This experience feels like customers are being treated like employees rather than valued investors. The level of disregard for buyers’ time, expectations, and financial commitments is shocking. Complete disappointment even before seeing the unit. Expectations are now at absolute zero. Didn’t expect this from master developer like Damac. One of the best developers in UAE delaying project by 4-5 months. Still there is uncertainty for the investors and end users regarding the handover date. Due to lack of top management involvement and busy with new projects is one of the reasons. I hope they at least realize and expedite the handover.

Do Not Buy from This Developer – A Regretful Experience I strongly advise against purchasing from this developer. My experience has been deeply disappointing and frustrating, and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake. From the beginning, there were numerous red flags that, in hindsight, I wish I had paid more attention to. The developer made big promises that were not fulfilled—delays in construction, poor communication, and a lack of accountability were just the beginning. The quality of the build was far below what was advertised. Corners were clearly cut, materials were cheap, and essential details were overlooked. What’s worse, several other buyers in the same project have had similar issues. Delays in handover, incomplete units, legal complications, and endless excuses seem to be part of a larger pattern. If you’re considering buying a home or investing with this developer, I urge you to think twice. There are better, more transparent, and more reliable companies out there. Don’t risk your hard-earned money or peace of mind. Damac is a disappointment !!! Do not buy from DAMAC

Residents of apartments do not have access to Malibu beach area which is shown to clients (including me) as an accessible amenity by their sales persons and agents. Even their ads and brochures are misleading. They do not mention anywhere that It is exclusively for villa residents only. Apartments have their own swimming pool.
